vive la France...
respectful dues are in season for the nay-shon of France...
another World Cup final plays out today...
the Renaissance World Cup of Culture, Italy and France...
and cuisine...
there will be no deli platteres of culinary banality
served up at these game parties, i would presume...
however, the American Cheese Cultural Blandishment Program
has reached far and wide, so i'm probably wrong about that...
of course the Tour de France is in full flower,
ready to wreck hearts, minds and knees in the mountains...
a pinnacle of endurance...
and abuse...
and ridiculous cover up stories...
the drug cloud will never go away,
simply because it has always been there...... ♪♪♪
and i just smoked a rather massif bowl.......(-_-)
ha ha, what a kidder, non?
even if you care not for bikes,
the history on the tour is crazy stuff...
if you like drugs, it's a must read...
having a party soon???
try...The Belgian Mix
it's not waffles, per se...
still, an amazing spectacle,
and i love bikes, so simple and beneficial...
one of our finer inventions...
and yesterday morn, my kids and i had the pleasure
of watching Amelie Mauresmo win her first Wimbledon title...
first French woman to win in 81 years...
it came at the fate of Justine Henin-Hardenne,
whom i admire greatly...
an excellent regrouping by Amelie
to come back and take control...
and i had the algebraic task
of explaining tennis scoring to my 6 and 8 year olds...
the looks on their faces was fairly priceless,
big glowing vacancy signs in their eyes...
but they dug it, and are now quite psyched
to see Mr. Federererer play...
which is coming up shortly,
but has little to do with France...
well, there is the red clay angle...
anyhow, this Swedish/Welsh/Irish dude tips his summer hat,
raises a cafe au lait, and later a vin rouge, and salutes France...
you're as screwed up as the rest of us,
you just look better...
merci...
adieu,
ee
